The short answer
The owners of the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas, NV wanted their chapel to stand out on the Strip at night. We installed commercial permanent lights along the fascia and added ridgeline lighting, set to the chapel's red and white color scheme. The project took about three weeks from start to finish, and the install took one day.
The problem
The owners of the Little White Chapel on Las Vegas Blvd came to us with a simple goal. They wanted their chapels to stand out on the Strip.
That's a tall order on a street full of casino signs and neon. A white chapel can disappear after dark next to all that. So the plan was to outline the building itself in light, in colors that belong to this chapel.
What we did, step by step
Install commercial lights along the fascia
We ran commercial permanent lights around the fascia of the chapel, so the whole outline of the building reads from the street at night.
Add ridgeline lighting
We also lit the roof ridgelines. That traces the peaks of the roof and frames the gable under the white steeple.
Set the chapel's red and white colors
Each of the owners' chapels has its own color scheme. For the Little White Chapel, they run red and white.
How long it took
From start to finish, the project took about three weeks. The install itself took one day.
The result
The Little White Chapel now glows red and white along its fascia and roof ridgelines every night. And it didn't stop with one building. We've now done five wedding chapels for the same owners, each one in its own color scheme.
